Cem Ertur Prize

To honor the memory of Prof. Cem Ertur, a prize was created during the 16th International Workshop on Spatial Econometrics and Statistics (held in Avignon in 2017). The Cem Ertur Prize aims to recognize and honor outstanding research by a junior researcher related to spatial econometrics. This prize is given to a young researcher that presents a very promising article during the workshop. A committee composed of the organizers of previous editions of the workshop selects the best paper presented. This committee ranks contributions based on referee reports and their own reading of the papers. Traditionally, the prize winner is announced during the workshop dinner.
